Stocks in Focus: GIFT Nifty was trading 23 points or 0.10% lower at 24,522 indicating a negative start for domestic indices NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex on Thursday. Previously, on Thursday, the NSE Nifty 50 closed the session 241 points or 0.98% higher at 24,708, while the BSE Sensex rose 809 points or 1% to close at 81,766.

Vodafone Idea plans to raise Rs 2,000 crore through equity shares and/or convertible securities issuance on a preferential basis to one or more entities belonging to UK-based Vodafone Group. The board will meet on December 9 to consider the proposal for the issue, the company said in a filing to the exchanges.
