Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, has responded to claims that he used Artificial Intelligence to fabricate a video portraying a life of luxury.
The allegations emerged after TikTok user #ihatebenn_ accused the pastor of digitally manipulating footage to create the illusion of affluence.
The claims followed reports that Adegboyega had purchased a Lamborghini Revuelto, said to be worth £580,000.
A video showing the pastor stepping into the luxury vehicle went viral across social media platforms. However, in a TikTok post that began trending on Friday, #ihatebenn_ questioned the authenticity of the video. He pointed to oddities in the footage, most notably a Jeep in the background that appeared visually inconsistent, and suggested the entire clip was generated using AI.
The TikToker claimed the scene was a digital fabrication aimed at misleading the public.
In response, Pastor Adegboyega released a video on Friday addressing the accusations. In the clip, he dismissed the claims and said, “TikTok is going to raise the next level of dummies. We don’t have to edit or AI a G-Wagon.”
