Kick streamers drugged and robbed during live stream
Two Kick streamers, CaptainGee and CrisTravels, were allegedly drugged and robbed during a livestream in Medellín, Colombia.
The incident occurred while they were five days into a 24/7 subathon stream. Kick streamers drugged and robbed while walking home at night, the streamers encountered two women, believed to be prostitutes, and agreed to pay 300,000 pesos (around $68) for their company.
Once at their rental residence, one of the women, wearing a red dress, offered drinks to the streamers. Viewers suspected that the drinks may have been drugged, as CaptainGee soon began feeling unwell. He told his fellow streamer, “I think they drugged me,” though CrisTravels remained unconvinced. Shortly after, CaptainGee declared to his audience, “Chat, I’m drunk, and I think they drugged me.”
About 20 minutes later, the stream abruptly ended, and the last visible moment showed one of the women walking towards the camera. Concerned viewers reached out to the Airbnb host, who arrived with police. The streamers were found in good health but confused, with their electronic devices, including laptops and phones, stolen.
Kick streamers drugged and robbed, the authorities are investigating the theft, and the Airbnb host has promised to help identify the women. The two streamers have since returned to their Kick channels, sharing the experience in a new stream titled, “We got drugged and robbed in Medellín, Colombia.”
