Ja Rule slams 50 Cent’s claim of buying concert tickets
Ja Rule has once again responded to 50 Cent’s claim that he bought tickets to one of Ja’s concerts in an attempt to leave seats empty.
In a recent interview with Big Boy, 50 Cent revived the story, saying he purchased tickets on StubHub, including the first four rows, to create the illusion of an empty venue. He described it as a light-hearted act, adding that he didn’t mind spending the money to “watch the show and see the spaces are empty.”
48-year-old Jeffrey Bruce Atkins Sr., better known by his stage name Ja Rule slams, didn’t take kindly to the comment, calling 50 Cent a “fat f*cking liar” on social media. “You believe this dumb sh*t???” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), challenging anyone to produce footage or evidence of the alleged incident. Ja Rule slams even offered $10,000 to anyone who could provide photos or video footage from the show to prove 50 Cent’s claim.
This is not the first time Ja Rule slams has addressed 50 Cent’s ticket-buying allegations. Back in 2019, after 50 Cent claimed he purchased 200 tickets to one of Ja’s concerts, Ja called him a “pathological liar” and offered a cash reward to anyone who could provide evidence. Ja Rule has consistently dismissed these stories, pointing out that if 50 Cent did indeed buy the tickets, it only benefited him by filling the venue.
In a previous interview, Ja Rule expressed disbelief over the idea, saying, “Even the thought of it is stupid. You put money in my pocket.” He further stated that if 50 Cent had indeed done this, the promoter would have simply opened the venue to the public or charged attendees again to avoid empty seats. Ja Rule concluded, “Stop with the foolery. Never happened.”
